Civitans are everyday citizens who come together in communities around the world to socialize, learn and serve their neighbors through community service projects. Civitan has grown to over 40,000 members in 45 countries on 4 continents, including youth and college programs. Civitan clubs perform a variety of service projects that address the unique needs of their communities.
Internationally, Civitan is devoted to improving the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities.
